Lexington Post Office Aids Christ The King Food Pantry
Christ The King's Matthew Project, taken from the Gospel of Matthew 25:35, is our food pantry outreach here in Lexington. We were the recipients of a generous offering by the Lexington Post Office. On Saturday, May 10th, local residence were asked to put food donations next to their mail boxes. The letter carriers then brought them to the post office for distribution. On Tuesday, May 12th, we received at least 20 bags of non-perishable foods. Christ The King has been blessed with the resources to help assist those in our community who have fallen on hard times. We wish to thank our local post office for their participation in this effort.
